THE FARROT
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
The farrot
Farrots inhabit remote sections of the rainforests in
tropical areas and are usually spotted basking on warm rocks in the mid-day sun.
Farrots are strictly herbivores, munching on any seeds
they may find, but preferring wild berries when they are available. They have
been known to crack coconut shells with their strong beaks.
Full grown male farrots are about 14 inches in
length and the females rarely exceed 12 inches. The females lack the beautiful
coloring of the male and are light to medium brown all over.
Farrots are reptiles and lay eggs in bunches of 20 -
30 at a time. The female will stay with the eggs the entire 40 - 45 days it
takes them to hatch.
The main defense system of farrots is their ability
to jump long distances. The 4 or 5 feather-like protrusions on their front legs
help them glide long distances. Farrots have been know to cover over 150 feet in
a single jump.
