The Zebaroo
In 1944 a Canadian tourist to Australia found a Zebaroo
and managed to transport it back to his farm in Alberta where he made a nice
profit exhibiting the animal.
In January 1945 the Zebaroo managed to hop a fence,
escape and has not been seen since.
On February 14 1945 the farmer, 'Jumping' Joe
Jerome, left his farm to search for the Zebaroo and he hasn't been heard from
since either.
To this date no other Zebaroo has ever been found.
