The Buffat
The Buffat was the product of money hungry meat farmers
of the wild, wild west in the early 1800's.
The WWWMFA (Wild Wild West Meat Farmers Association)
succeeded in breeding a hearty fast growing animal with two important elements;
it grew large, often topping 2,000 pounds and it was great tasting.
In 1821 Chastity Chaste created the BAND (Buffats
Are Not Food) association and by 1923 Buffats were banned from being eaten.
As there were no more Buffat farmers the animals
were allowed to roam the great plains where at first they flourished, but soon
were hunted by people that had taken a liking to them earlier.
On July 04 1849 the last known Buffat was eaten in
Reno, Nevada at a 4th of July buffet.
