THE SHOINK
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
The shoink
On a recent expedition in 2006 to photograph icebergs
in the northern Hudson Bay divers photographed an new species of shark, now
named the shoink.
The expedition changed it's focus and decided to study
the shoink.
The shoinks live in schools of up to twenty and
appear to be very docile unless they come across another school, in which case
they can become very fierce in protecting their territory.
Shoinks feed strictly on small fish and create a
very loud grunting sound when feeding. It is not clear whether the sound is used
to group their prey or if they are just overly enjoying their meal.
Natives to the northern Hudson Bay seem to have know
about shoinks and in one remote village it has been found that the shoink is a
staple in their diet. A favorite of this remote village is called the SLT (Shoink,
lettuce, tomato) sandwich.
