After Diane complains about Sam, Cliff comments " I wouldn't try too hard to domesticate the guy. You're going against eons on biology on this one."

Diane falls into Cliff's trap by asking "What are you talking about?"

Well, Early cavemen, they went out and hunt for the very food that graced their simple table. The women stayed in the cave and developed art, culture, what-have-you. Men down through the centuries have always been hunters, doers, adventurers. Cogito, it is not in man's nature to sit alone and be passive and docile.

Norm moans.

Cliff asks "What's the matter Norm?"

Norm answers " Ah, nothing, just my shorts are binding up on me."

Cliff recommends "Just stand up and straighten them out."

In a passive and docile manner Norm answers "Nah, I'll give them five minutes, sometimes they self-correct."

The truth:

As far as we know art and culture were not developed during caveman days.

The interesting part is the use of the word cogito as the writers seem to be poking fun at Cliff.
