Robert Gordon Orr was born March
20, 1948 in Parry Sound, Ontario an in 1966 he made his debut in the NHL with
the Boston Bruins.
In
all Bobby Orr played 10 seasons with the Boston Bruins and another 2 seasons
with the Chicago Blackhawks, retiring after the 1978-79 season.
Bobby Orr played a total of 657 regular season games in
the NHL recording 270 goals and 645 assists becoming one of the greatest, if not
the greatest defensemen to play the game.
He also appeared in 74 playoff games where he tallied
26 goals and 66 assists.
Bobby Orr's rookie card was issued by Topps (#35) in their 1966-67 set and
sells for about $2,500.00 USD, a small price to pay for having one the the most
