For many collectors, spoons are amongst the most favoured items to collect. They can be collected as souvenirs of places visited, or just added to collections as one comes across extremely unique and beautiful spoons. Spoons are a wonderful collectible to display in a case, usually hung on a wall to show everyone just how great these collections can really be.

This set includes a pair of matching coffee spoons that measure just over four inches long. They were made by Gorham, circa 1895. They are part of a numbered series, specifically number “11” and they have markings that show that. They have other identifiers on them as well that include the Gorham lion, an anchor, and the word “Sterling.” The handles have a very intricate scroll design and the whole spoon has a matte finish. The bowls are done in a beautiful gold wash. The backs of the bowls also feature wonderful detailed design and are also done in a gold wash.
