One of the most treasured names in
the minds of collectors is the name Beswick. These wonderful items are available
as plates, animal figurines, and many other gems that have been created by the
company. In 1971, they started to create beautiful steins that are based on the
Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. The collection of twelve steins was
completed in 1982 and there are now twelve steins in total, making it an even
more desirable collection that can be added to from time to time.
Each stein represents a scene taken from the
classic novel and is beautifully done with great attention to detail. The base
of each stein displays the year in which the stein was produced. Each of these
steins stands at 5 ½” tall and sits on a base that is 4 ¼”. For those who love
the classic story or those who love collecting Berwick items, this collection is
a wonderful piece to own and show off. The steins vary in price from $75.00 to
$95.00.
