WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE HURRICANE
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
What is the most expensive hurricane in the world?
Hurricanes are very costly in many
ways, lives lost, property lost, roads, parks and other buildings destroyed.
Hurricanes cause damage to not only human, but also to animals, vegetation in
the area, beachfront, and many other tourist attractions. Even though all
hurricanes are costly, there is one, at this time, reported the most expensive.
Hurricane Katrina that made landfall north of Miami
Florida on August 25, 2005 as a category 1 and then hit the central gulf coast
in Louisiana on August 29, 2005 as a category 4 is the most expensive hurricane
on record to date.
The damage from Hurricane Katrina has been
estimated to be between $70 and $130 billion. Hurricane Andrew held the spot of
the most expensive hurricane at $45 billion before Hurricane Katrina.
