What is the most expensive marmalade
in the world?
Want a little marmalade on your
toast? At the price of £5,000 per jar, a dab is all you may be able to afford.
For their 125th anniversary, F Duerr & Son created the most expensive marmalade.
This unique and delectable Seville Orange Marmalade
is created with whisky, champagne and cold mixed with the Seville orange. The
exact ingredients include vintage Dalmore 62 whisky from Whyte & Mackay, with a
splash of Pol Roger Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill 1996 vintage champagne and
garnished with flakes of 24-carat gold leaf.
The marmalade jar alone is valued at £1,100.
This is the type of jar and jam
that you do not want the children to use for their peanut butter and jam
