WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE TUNA FISH
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
What is the most expensive tuna fish in the world?
You may think when you buy a can
of tuna in the grocery store that costs a little over a dollar, that tuna really
doesn’t cost all that much. But consider that there are some tuna fish in the
West Atlantic Ocean – the bluefin tuna, that are going extinct and that
fisherman must brave horrible conditions to catch, and you may just understand
why this is some of the most expensive tuna fish in the world.
While these fish certainly are pricey, there was
one fish in particular that sold at a Tokyo auction in 2008 for $100,000. This
fish was sold to two restaurateurs and it weighed an astonishing 282 pounds!
