What is the most expensive trailer park in the world?
Think that living in a trailer
park is cheap? You wouldn’t think so if you took up residence in either of the
two most expensive trailer parks in the world, which are both in close proximity
to each other in Malibu. Here you will find not only some of the most expensive
trailer parks but some of the most beautiful as well and with the average price
tags of $1 million dollars per home, it’s not surprising that these are some of
the most enjoyed vacationing spots of celebrities.
The Paradise Cove is the first trailer park that
first was established as a place for RVs to park and camp. Today, that small
campout spot includes 271 units, a guard house, a small clubhouse, an RV storage
area, a kids’ playground, tennis courts, and basketball courts. What mobile home
owners love most about living here though is probably the Paradise Cove Beach
Café, which not only serves up delicious treats but also has its own beach and
cove. A mobile home here costs approximately $1.4 million USD.
But not to be outdone, the Point Dume Club lies
just within reach as well and here you can find 297 units, all which lie in a
gated community. This community lies on Point Dume Bluff and also has tennis and
basketball courts, as well as a swimming pool. The streets are said to provide
some of the best views in all of California. Perhaps this is why one of their
units just sold for $2.2 million.
If either of these price tags seems too hefty for
you however, you might find solace in the fact that residents of Paradise Cove
and Point Dume Club don’t pay any property taxes!
