THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

What is the most expensive saxophone in the world?

Those who love to play the blues may long to do so with the world’s most expensive saxophone but they may end up singing them instead once they hear of the price tag of this most precious and prized instrument.

The saxophone was created in a workshop that’s called Diamonds and Glass and the focus of the workshop is as you would guess, creating beautiful things from diamonds and glass. The world’s most expensive saxophone is a silica sax and is constructed entirely of glass and is plated with 2.82 ounces of gold. Of course, you can’t forget about the diamonds, of which there are 10 of the 2-carat jewels. But what’s even more impressive than what this beautiful instrument is constructed of, is how it was constructed. The entire instrument was completely handmade and it took a total of 65 hours to make.

As appropriate as where it was made, it’s also as appropriate as where the world was introduced to this wonderful music-maker. The world’s most expensive saxophone first debuted at Thailand’s Millionaire Expo in November 2007, which was an event held in honor of King Bhumipol and it was put up for auction with all the proceedings being directed to the Princess Pa Foundation. The world’s most expensive saxophone is said to have an estimated value of $60,000.
