WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE SNOWBOARD
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
What is the most expensive snowboard in the world?
Every year, snowboarders carefully
choose the piece of equipment that will allow them to glide down steep slopes
with great precision and ease. For some snowboarders, there is much more to
consider than just the price. The length and width of the board, as well as how
flexible it is, are all major considerations. Add to that graphics and a
particular brand name that someone might be looking for, and price might
actually be the last thing that a serious snowboarder considers when choosing
their board. And for those snowboarders where price is no object, The Burton
Method, might be just the thing. At $1,500, this snowboard is the most expensive
snowboard in the world.
The Burton Method was designed using just that –
the Burton method. This method is actually known as UltraMeth technology, and
it’s exclusive to the Burton brand. This process uses finely woven strands of
carbon, titanium edges, and S2 carbon composite instead of glass. This is all
done so that the board will not only be extremely lightweight, but also so that
it will help boost the boarder’s performance.
Paying $1,500 might not seem like that much for the
world’s most expensive snowboard. Especially when you consider that an average
snowboard costs anywhere from $300 - $500. But what might be more difficult than
paying for it is finding one. Burton’s online store is all sold out and the
company states that they won’t be manufacturing more any time soon. Perhaps this
is a ploy on Burton’s part to make the snowboard even more valuable?
