The most expensive photograph ever

WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE PHOTOGRAPH
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

What is the most expensive photograph in the world?

Imagine paying $1,248,000.00 for a photograph. That was the record set in November 2005 for Richard Prince's "Untitled (Cowboy)".

The new record for the world's most expensive photograph blew that away.

On February 14 one of three prints of a Edward Steichen photograph sold at Sotheby's for $2.9 million USD.

The photograph, titled The Pond-Moonlight, was taken on Long Island, New York in 1904.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York, put the photograph up for sale and they also own another one. The third is in the Museum of Modern Art.
