WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE COFFEE
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
What is the most expensive coffee in the world?
We'll start of by telling you that
the world's most expensive coffee runs over $300.00 a pound and just one cup in
a fancy restaurant will set you back $50.00 or more.
'So why is it so expensive?' you ask.
Simple, due to the special processing process only
about 500 pound are produced each year.
'So why not hire more people to process the coffee?' you
ask.
Simple, people don't process the coffee, a common palm
civet or paradoxurus does.
'So what is
a common palm civet and how does it process the coffee?' you ask.
A common palm civet is a mongoose like animal that
dwells in tropical forests. It also likes to eat coffee beans, but the shells
protect the beans and they eventually leave the civet from the opposite end they
went in.
The beans are
then collected, sterilized and processed some more, this time by humans, and
sold as the world's most expensive coffee.
So if you would like to try this full-bodied coffee,
just remember the name Kopi Luwak; the world's most expensive coffee.
