The World's Fastest Indian is a movie that was released on December 7, 2005 in New Zealand and on February 03, 2006 in the USA.

It was written, directed and produced by Roger Donaldson and starred Anthony Hopkins as Burt Munro.

The movie was based on the actual life of Burt Munro, a New Zealander who spent many years modifying a 1920 Indian motorcycle before setting a land-speed record at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967.
