The results of the Handwekbeurs in Zwolle on February 19th and 20th, 2005 gave Miriam Tegels the title of the fastest knitter in the world.

Miriam can knit 257 stitches in 3 minutes.

Second place went to F. Bult who created only 183 stitches in the three-minute time limit.
