Fire trucks need to be fast, but you don't have to tell that Shannen Seydel of Davidson Racing, he built the world's fastest fire truck.

The Hawaiian Eagle Jet Fire Truck is a rebuilt 1940 Ford truck powered by two Rolls Royce Viper engines that put out about 6000 HP per engine when the afterburner is engaged.

All this adds up to a blazing top speed of 407 miles per hour which set the record for the world's fastest fire truck in 1998 and still stands today.
