STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
What was the fastest NASCAR race?
The fastest NASCAR race was the Winston Select 500, now
known as the Aaron's 499, held
on May 10, 1997 at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.
The 500 mile race had no caution flags (guess Ricky
Bobby was not driving) and as a result
Mark Martin took the checkered flag with the fastest average speed of any NASCAR
race.
Average speed: 188.354 mph or 303.126 km/h.
