WORLD'S FIRST
FULL MOTION STAMP

THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

What is the world's first full motion stamp?

To celebrate the XX Olympic games in Turin on February 10 2006, the Dutch have issued the world's first full motion stamps.

The two full motion stamps are of speed skaters Yvonne van Gennip, who won a gold Medal winner in the 1500, 3000 & 5000 meter speed skating in Calgary 1988, and Ard Schenk, a gold Medal winner on 1500, 5000 & 10000 meter speed skating in Sapporo in 1972.

The limited edition stamps, developed by Dutch design studio Solar, use twelve successive original television fragments of the winning races using a special technique.
