The first over Niagara Falls in a barrel ever

WORLD'S FIRST
NIAGARA FALLS BARREL FALL

THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

Who was the world's first to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel?

Before we get into the barrel, in 1829 Sam Patch, AKA The Yankee Leaper, leapt over Horseshoe Falls and is the first recorded  person to survive. He did not have a barrel.

On October 24 1901 Annie Edson Taylor, at the age of 63 (she claimed to be 43), became the world's first person to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel. She walked away unscathed.

The first man to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel was Bobby Leach.

On July 25 1911 Bobby Leach went over the falls in a steel barrel and survived, although he did break both his kneecaps.
