The first train robbery ever

AMERICA'S FIRST TRAIN ROBBERY
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

When was the world's first train robbery?

The first recorded train robbery in the U.S. occurred on October 6 1866.

Frank, Simeon, and William Reno, the Reno Brothers, hopped on a passenger train near Seymour, Indiana and broke into the Adams Express Company car, emptied one safe and threw a second safe out the window.

This led to a rash of train robberies soon after and the fad reached it's peak in 1870.
