Who was the world's first US president?
I hope you are not thinking George
Washington, he was the 11th.
Samuel Huntington was the first president when he was
elected to the Continental Congress in 1779 when then Articles of Confederation,
the first constitution, were adopted.
Unfortunately the Articles of Confederation didn't work well and a new
Constitution was adopted. April 30 1789 and George Washington became the first US
president under the new constitution.
