The first Zeppelin ever

WORLD'S FIRST ZEPPELIN
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

What was the world's first Zeppelin?

The Zeppelin was created by Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin who first became interested in the idea in 1870.

In 1890 the Count began work on the Zeppelin after leaving the military and soon purchased rights to the designs of inventor David Schwarz who was working on his own air ship but passed away before he could finish.

On August 31 1895 Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin obtained a patent for the Zeppelin.

On July 2 1900 over the Bodensee, or Lake Constance, in Germany the Luftschiff Airship Zeppelin, AKA LZ1, the world's first Zeppelin, made the world's first Zeppelin flight lasting a gassy 18 minutes.
