THE FIRST
PLANET EVER DISCOVERED

THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

What was the first planet ever discovered?

The simple answer is Earth.

In reality out of the eight planets in our solar system, only two have been discovered, the rest are visible to the naked eye.

So, with that in mind, Uranus was discovered by Sir William Herschel in 1781.

The other planet was Neptune and was discovered by John Couch Adams in 1846.

Pluto was discovered by Clyde Tombaugh in 1930 but in August 2006, under new definitions of a planet, Pluto was demoted to the status of a dwarf planet.
