What was the world's first cloned mammal?

At the Roslin Institute in Edinburgh, Scotland Dr. Ian Wilmut and their team were working on cloning the world's first mammal and on February 22 1997 '6LL3' was born, better known as Dolly the sheep.

Dolly enjoyed six happy years and on April 23 1998 even managed to have a baby named Bonnie.

Dolly can now be found at Edinburgh's Royal Museum.
