THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

What was the world's first video game?

Keeping in mind that a video game is a game where a video display such as a monitor or television is used to display the output.

With that out of the way, the world's first video game was created by William Higinbotham in 1958 and played on an oscilloscope at Brookhaven National Laboratory, the name of the game: 'Tennis for Two'.

Back then Brookhaven National Laboratory had open house days where they set up exhibits for the general public to come and view.

William Higinbotham created 'Tennis for Two' to show off what the Instrumentation Division of Brookhaven National Laboratory could do.
