The first Starbucks ever

WORLD'S FIRST STARBUCKS
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

Where was the world's first Starbucks?

It seems like there are five Starbucks on every corner but there was a time when there was only one in the entire world.

The world's first Starbucks was opened by Jerry Baldwin, Gordon Bowker and Zev Siegl at 2000 Western Avenue in Seattle, Washington in April 1971 with the initial goal of selling high-quality coffee, dark-roasted in small batches, the European way, they originally didn't sell coffee by the cup, but sometimes offered samples.

The second Starbucks did not open until late 1972 in the University District.

The start up capital to get the store running was $1,350.00 from each of the three and an additional loan of $5,000.00, so for only $9,050.00 Starbucks was born.
