The first 7-Eleven ever

WORLD'S FIRST
7-ELEVEN

THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

What was the world's first 7-Eleven?

7-Eleven was born at the Southland Ice Company in Oak Cliff, Texas in 1927 when employees sold blocks of ice and food on Sundays and evenings.

Seeing all the satisfied customers the Southland Corporation soon opened a bunch of convenience stores called Tote'm stores.

In 1946 the Southland Corporation changed the name from Tote'm to 7-Eleven to reflect the stores' new hours of 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week and in 1999 changed to company name to 7-Eleven, Inc.
