What was the world's first 'The Twilight Zone' episode?

The Twilight Zone was created, narrated, and often written by Rod Serling.

In 1957 CBS purchased 'The Time Element' from Rod Serling which was to become the pilot for The Twilight Zone but the project was put on the shelf.

Finally in 1959 The Twilight Zone got new life and on October 02, 1959 the first episode of The Twilight Zone aired.

The episode was titled 'Where Is Everybody?' and was about a man who finds himself in a town strangely devoid of people, but has the odd feeling that he's being watched.

The Twilight Zone ran for 5 seasons encompassing 156 episodes.

The Twilight Zone was revived in 1985 and again in 2002 as well as Twilight Zone: The Movie which was shown in theaters in 1983.
