THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

What was the world's first Jamaican bobsleigh team?

The first Jamaican bobsleigh team made it's debut at the 1988 Calgary winter Olympics and although the team finished last, they did win the hearts of many fans and even spawned the Disney movie 'Cool Runnings'.

Devon Harris, Dudley Stokes, Michael White and Samuel Clayton were the first Jamaican bobsleigh team and were coached by American Howard Siler.

Jamaica has sent a bobsleigh team to every winter Olympics since, although they failed to qualify for the 2006 Olympics in Torino, and in their second appearance in 1992 they finished 14th, beating out the United States among other teams.
