Although we could not find much
information, here is what we did find out:
The world's first cassette player was made available to
the public at an electronics show in August 1965.
In 1961 RCA Victor released a reel to reel player with
the reels enclosed in a cartridge, making it look like a giant cassette tape.
The retail price for was $169.95 USD.
