WORLD'S FIRST TAXI
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
What was the world's first taxi?
The world's first taxi was
probably some caveman that accepted a hunk of meat for a piggyback ride.
Horse-drawn carriage rides for money began operating in
both Paris and London in the early 17th century.
The world's first motorized taxi with a meter was built
in 1897 by Gottlieb Daimler and called the Daimler Victoria and was sold to
Stuttgart transportation and was used to start the
world's first motorized taxi company that same year.
