Who were the world's first MLB Hall of Fame inductees?

The National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York was dedicated on June 12, 1939.

That day the National Baseball Museum and the Baseball Hall of Fame held it's first Induction Ceremony before opening it's doors to the public for the first time.

Five players had the honor of being the first Hall of Fame inductees and they were  Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, Honus Wagner and Babe Ruth.
