ORANGE GROVE IN CALIFORNIA

THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

Where was the world's first orange grove in California?

The first orange in California was in Placentia.

In 1919, many flocked to this quaint little town when oil was found.

By the 1920ís Placentia became a growing city, but today, the commercial orange groves have all ceased to exist, however, the George Key Ranch does have an orange grove, botanical garden, and an idea of what life was like for a farmer during the early 1900ís.
