In 1919, many flocked to this
quaint little town when oil was found.
By the 1920ís Placentia became a
growing city, but today, the commercial orange groves have all ceased to exist,
however, the George Key Ranch does have an orange grove, botanical garden, and
an idea of what life was like for a farmer during the early 1900ís.
