WORLD'S FIRST STOP SIGN
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

Where was the world's first stop sign?

The world's first stop sign made it's debut in Blair, Nebraska in 1915.

The stop sign had black letters on a white background, and in 1924 the background was changed to yellow on all stop signs.

The first stop signs with the red background and white lettering that we all know and love became the standard in 1954.
