written by William Hill Brown and published by Isaiah Thomas and Company in
January 1789.
The novel
is set in Boston, Belleview, and New York is a collection of letters exchanged
between the characters Thomas Harrington, Harriot Faucet, Jack Worthy, Myra
Harrington and Mrs. Eliza Holmes.
