The first iPod virus ever

WORLD'S FIRST IPOD VIRUS
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

What was the world's first iPod virus?

On the Kaspersky Lab 'about us' page it states the following:

'At Kaspersky Lab, we produce and distribute information security solutions that protect our customers from IT threats and allow enterprises to manage risk. We provide security software products that protect information from all types of malware including viruses, hackers and spam for home users and enterprises and offer consulting services and technical support.'

So what do Kaspersky Lab employees do on rainy April days in 2007 when they get bored? They release the world's first iPod virus.

The virus, named Podloso, can only infect iPods running Linux and only if the iPod user downloads it but once it's installed it infects all executable files and if one is run the user will get a nice little message: 'You are infected with Oslo the first iPodLinux Virus'.
