Who scored the world's first Super Bowl field goal?

The world's first Super Bowl field goal was kicked in the second quarter of Super Bowl I on January 15, 1967 at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum when the Kansas City Chiefs met the Green Bay Packers.

Kansas City's Mike Mercer kicked a 31 yard field goal late in the second quarter to pull Kansas City to within 4 points of Green Bay.

Although Mike had the honor of kicking the first ever field goal in Super Bowl play, his team went on to lose to Green Bay 35-10.
