WORLD'S FIRST CRASH TEST DUMMY
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST

What was the world's first crash test dummy?

The first crash test dummy was developed in 1949 to determine how effectively a 95th percentile male would remain in the seat of a rocket sled.

It wasn’t until 1997 that crash test dummies were required to test all air bag safety and frontal impact regulations.

The first crash test dummy was called Sierra Sam and was designed by Sierra Engineering Co.
