What was the world's first TIME magazine?

Joseph G. Cannon, a member of  the Republican Party and a speaker of the United States House of Representatives from 1903 to 1911 had the honor of being featured on the cover of the world's first TIME magazine.

TIME was founded in 1923  by Briton Hadden and Henry Luce who worked together on the Yale Daily News.

The first issue of TIME was released March 03 1923 and became America's first weekly news magazine.
