WORLD'S FIRST
ANIMAL IN SPACE
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
What was the world's first animal in space?
On November 03 1957 the Russians
launched Sputnik 2 with a unique passenger onboard, the world's first animal in
space, Laika, the out of this world Russian space dog.
Sputnik 2 orbited Earth for six days before the fuel
was depleted and on the seventh day Laika was put to sleep.
On April 14 1958, after 2,570 orbits, Sputnik 2 finally
re-entered the Earth's atmosphere.
In Laika's honor many countries issued stamps proving
the point that every dog must have it's day.
If you noticed in the first paragraph we used the word
'unique'. This brings us to a totally unrelated silly riddle:
Q: How do you catch a unique rabbit?
A: Unique on him!
Q:
How do you catch a tame rabbit?
A:
Tame way, Unique on him!

Laika
