The story of Amityville house.

A family, by the name of DeFeo moved into a new house, overjoyed with excitement of all the new possibilities. Their oldest son, Ronald DeFeo was a huge gun collector and had many unique and different guns in his collection. When he decided to kill his entire family, he chose carefully one, which was a 35-caliber Marlin rifle.

He quietly crept into his parents bedroom, watched them as they were sleeping unaware of what was about to happen, he lifted the gun, aimed and fired. He shot his father in the back twice, by this time, his mother had awoken and he then proceeded to shoot her twice.

He then headed to his brothers room and killed both of them, then off to his sister bedroom where he also killed both of them.

This is the true account of the murders that happened on November 13, 1974 in Amityville, New York. The eerie part about the entire incident with all the homes in the neighborhood being only 40 feet apart, no one heard even a single shot.

Ronald DeFoe claimed a shadow ghost was with him the night he killed his entire family and from the history of this home, it may be true. The property was once home to an insane asylum for Native Americans that were sick and dying. It is believed that the ghosts that were buried in unconsecrated graves haunt this home and property.

Today, many researchers in the paranormal have investigated and feel the presences of evil.
