If you wish to spend a night in a unique hotel where many stars and starlets frequented during their time and even still visit after their death then you must spend a night or two at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.

Among the most popular that has been seen by guests is Marilyn Monroe. On the lower level of the hotel beside the elevators in the infamous mirror that at one time resided in the room in which Marilyn Monroe slept. Many guests have seen Miss Monroe’s refection in the mirror if only a glimpse to vanish as quickly as she appeared. She has also been seen hovering close by her tomb at Westwood Memorial Cemetery located at 1218 Glendon Avenue in Westwood.

Room number 928 was the favorite room of Actor Montgomery Clift during the three months of filming “From Here to Eternity” and he still stays there today. Several guests have reported cold spots in the room and one guest felt him pat her on the shoulder.

Other ghosts have been felt and seen in the Blossom Room where the first Academy Awards banquet was held. Many have felt the eerie cold spots while others have noted a ghost dressed in a white suit on the balcony above the mezzanine. As soon as they approach the ghost in white he vanishes very quickly.
