The record, then, for the world's largest man goes to
American Jon Brower Minnoch who was born in 1941 and by his early twenties was
was 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighed 178 kilograms or 392 pounds.
At his peak in 1978 Jon Brower Minnoch tipped the
scales at an estimated 635 kilograms or 1397 pounds or if you prefer 100 stone.
At this point he finally went on a diet losing
almost 2/3 of his weight before putting some back on.
Jon Brower Minnoch passed away on on September 10,
1983 weighing 362 kilograms or 796 pounds.
