Interbrew is a brewery whose roots go back to 1366 in
Belgium.
In 2004 Interbrew and Companhia de Bebidas das
Américas (AmBev) merged and formed InBev which took over the top spot as the
largest beer producer from Anheuser Busch.
InBev puts out some 200 brands, employs about 85,000
people and runs operations in 32 countries across the Americas, Europe and Asia
Pacific.
InBev produces over 200 million hectoliters of beer
a year which fulfills about 14% of the world's beer-drinking needs.
InBev also sells over 30 million hectoliters of soft
drinks each year.
