What was the world's largest cookie?

Late at night on May 16, 2003 the Immaculate Baking Company in Hendersonville, North Carolina began baking a cookie and on May 17, 2003 it was finished.

This was no ordinary cookie, it was the world's largest cookie, made from 30,000 eggs, 6,500 pounds of butter and 6,000 pounds of chocolate and when all was mixed and baked the cookie weighed 37,000 pounds and measured 102 feet in diameter.

The cookie was then cut up and sold to raise money the Folk Artist's Foundation and the construction of the Folk Art Museum, but there were rumors of sightings of the world's largest Cookie Monster.
