What was the world's largest firework?
On July 15, 1988 during the Lake Toya Festival over
Hokkaido, Japan the world's largest firework was lit.
It was called 'Universe I Part II', was 54.7 inches in
diameter and weighed 1,543 explosive pounds.
Universe I Part II was placed on a floating platform
and lit and the explosion reached as high as 3,937 feet.
