The largest playoff in PGA history consisted of 6
players and happened on 2 different occasions.
The first was at the 1994 GTE Byron Nelson Classic when
Neal Lancaster, Tom Byrum, Mark Carnevale, David Edwards, Yoshinori Mizumaki and
David Ogrin all finished 9 under par. The winner was Neal Lancaster .
The second and last time this happened was at the
2001 Nissan Open when Robert Allenby, Toshi Izawa, Brandel Chamblee, Bob Tway,
Jeff Sluman and Dennis Paulson all finished at 8 under. Robert Allenby ended up
